01. What is a Performance Assessment and which are its types?

It can be described as an assessment that takes place on a regular basis, regarding the work and general performance of an employee. Also known as performance assessment, it seeks to analyze and measure the employee's abilities, accomplishments and growth, as well as their weaknesses and areas for improvement.

Companies use this type of assessment to provide employees with more complete feedback on their performance in that particular period, as well as to make decisions about layoffs, promotions, bonus distribution and training. Assessments can have different models and formats, and can take place at any time of the year, tending to occur quarterly or semi-annually.

  • TYPES OF PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT:

1. SELF-ASSESSMENT
