Situational – Social

The situational test, or social test, aims to measure the social ability of the person who is performing the test. Social skills are one that have the greatest correlation with performance in some positions (sales, service, among others). Therefore, a test that sought to measure it proved to be important for a complete evaluation of the job role.

Social skills are one of the most difficult to measure in a non-presential setting.

According to studies, the best way to measure social skills is through the SJT assessment methodology – Situational Judgment Test. In this type of assessment, as the name suggests, there is a real situation and the person being evaluated needs to judge this situation.

In the Mindsight test, different work environments are created. Through it, we can understand what the person's common sense is when selecting the alternatives that are more socially accepted. We do not seek to measure introversion or extraversion, but rather how much a person has the ability to make decisions that are socially accepted. We often joke that it's a good test of “common sense”.
