The inference test, or motivational test, aims to understand the type of drive of the person taking the assessment. The main objective is to understand whether the person has an internal will to achieve (need for achievement) or not.
To be able to measure this ability, we use an assessment methodology called Conditional Reasoning. In this type of methodology, the objective is to understand the person's mental condition and, thus, understand their type of drive.
We can say that a person with a good result on the motivational test has a greater chance of being a selfmotivated person and that they do not depend so much on the means to make things happen. People who score poorly on the motivational test are more likely to need middle incentives to make things happen.
